Description

Another sunset, and if you have seen my gallery then you know I have a habit of photographing them often. About 1 out of every 50 are keepers though...

As always I really like feedback and critiques. Dont hold back, I promise not to cry when you tear me apart ;p

Serious note, this was on a road in Southern Arizona. An area that is one of my favorites to capture sunsets. The metal laden dust the winds kick up make for beautiful sunsets. Northern Arizona has nothing on them for sunsets.

I hope you enjoy this!

Hi. I really see a great potential here, as you have some composition principles pretty well. The colors on the sunset are beautiful and overall, the scene is pretty pleasant and relaxing.

On the composition side, the only thing I could have done different, is adding a bit more of the street, and use it as a guiding line. That, or completely took it out of the frame and focus on the grass in the lower left, as it adds a nice element to give depth to the image.

I took the time to look at your equipment, and wanted to give you some recommendations that could be useful in the future. Try to lower the ISO and raising the exposure time (a tripod or a good support would be helpful to avoid movement blur when doing this) maybe up to 2-3 seconds at ISO 100. This will give you a clean sharp looking photo, as your camera seems to work not so well with ISO400 and up (noise begins to be noticeable). The longer exposure time will give the sensor time to catch more light. As I told you, a tripod or a steady support is necessary to do so. It will also help to increase detail on the close plane. Try to play a bit with these options to find the better exposure for each shot

I hope my review was useful best wishes, and happy shooting
